Ang tight ng muscles ni Mariah and mukhang sinasadya nya eh! It's as if she doesn't want to sound LOUD. Kaya to keep the volume down, she tries to tighten her neck and facial muscles ~ constricting airflow. Or isa pang theory ko, lumalim na naturally ang boses nya (due to aging, etc.) and she tightens her muscles para magtunog bata ulit, just like in her Unplugged album. Pero yun, tingin ko mas stylistic flaw ito rather than physical limitation.

Syempre, hindi rin nakatulong that Mariah has weak stage presence talaga -- ever since naman. Susme, hindi na nya natutunan yan! Kaya lalo lang nagmukhang she's struggling (Well yes, she's struggling nga. But good stage presence could have helped her sana). Isama mo pa yung outfit nya na inappropriate for the 'event' -- sure, itim nga ang gown nya, pero sana ilugar natin ang magpapakita ng cleavage. Baka bigla syang hindi naging kumportable sa itsura nya sa stage; hindi rin nakatulong yun.

If it's any consolation, andun ang boses. Ang tanong lang; Matutunan kaya nya ulit kung pano kumanta nang tama? Just like Mariah 1990-1995? :)

Actually problema ko rin yan kay Whitney eh. Pero ibang case naman yun, Whitney is a recovering drug addict and a heavy smoker talaga. Haha. Grabe pa makipagsigawan at magngangawa yan sa ex-husband nya. Idagdag mo pa the fact that most of her hits require her to belt and hindi talaga sya naglilip-sync. Naka-ilang world tours narin ... so there, yung kay Whitney, mukhang sa katawan nya ang problema.
